FAQs
Q: What areas do you cover?
A: Pom Pet Care is based in Ross-on-Wye, and we cover local surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether your location is within reach, just get in touch—we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes! I’m fully insured for all services, including pet visits, dog walking, in-home sitting, and pet taxi transport.
Q: How do I book a service?
A: Simply contact me with your pet’s details and the dates you need care. Once we confirm availability, I’ll send an invoice with a deposit to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due before the service begins.
Q: Can you give medication to my pets?
A: Absolutely! I’m happy to administer medication as part of visits, in-home sitting, or daycare. Just let me know the instructions, and I’ll take care of it.

Q: What if my dog needs extra exercise or attention?
A: No problem! Dog walks can be upgraded from 30 to 60 minutes, and additional time can be added to visits or daycare. Puppies and energetic dogs are given the extra care and attention they need.
Q: Can you look after multiple pets at the same time?
A: Yes! I can care for multiple pets in the same household. Additional dogs or high-maintenance pets may incur a small extra charge to cover walks and extra attention.
Q: What is a pet taxi, and do you drive long distances?
A: A pet taxi is a safe, insured way to transport your pet—whether to the vet, groomer, or another location. Trips are charged based on distance, with an additional mileage fee over 5 miles.
Q: Do you offer emergency or last-minute visits?
A: I always try to help where I can! Contact me with your dates, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs.
Q: Are there any requirements for in-home pet sitting?
A: Yes! For in-home sitting, I need a clean, well-maintained bedroom to stay in, access to a toilet, and the property left in a safe and accessible way. This ensures both your pets and your home are comfortable and secure while you’re away.
